Welcome to Topaz Lending

Hey everyone, I'm Kayla, and I want to share a little bit about why I started Topaz Lending, and why I'm so passionate about what I do.

For me, lending isn't just numbers and paperwork. It's about people's lives, dreams and sometimes their biggest financial decisions. I've seen firsthand how overwhelming and confusing the lending process can be, and what's what drives me every day, to make it feel less scary and a lot for understandable.

Before launching Topaz Lending, I was working in conveyancing and real estate (mainly property management), which gave me insight into the full property journey, not just the loans. But what really stuck with me was how often clients felt lost or rushed, like they were just ticking boxing instead of feeling truly heard.

That's the experience I want to change. At Topaz Lending, it's not about pushing products or ticking boxes. It's about listening, explaining, and guiding each person through their unique path with patience and honesty.

I'm not here to tell you what to do, I'm here to help you understand your options and feel confident in your decisions, whether you're buying your first home, refinancing, or investing.

Starting this business is a fresh and exciting chapter for me, and I’m really looking forward to watching it grow. Outside of work, I’m a bit of a mixed bag; I love exploring new places, travelling, and spending time outdoors playing sports or running. I also really enjoy hanging out with family and friends, getting creative with crafts, and, of course, the occasional Netflix binge.
